This morning I woke up with a better attitude. After talking to Travis’ mom for over three hours last night, we’d come up with an airtight plan for getting rid of Koryn. One that wouldn’t involve her getting hurt. Even though I was willing to result to violence if need be. She talked me out of it, citing that in order for this plan to be executed flawlessly, I needed to be seen and not heard. That was going to be a challenge, but I had to do what I had to do to come out on the winning side of this.

Getting out of bed, I went to relieve my bladder and run a bath. I had about three hours before I had to be at the airport and I wanted to put myself in the right frame of mind. As I went to drop some essential oils in the tub, I heard my front door open and close. I knew it was Travis because he was the only person who knew about this apartment. This was our duck off place when I stayed in L.A. It was another bill of mine that he paid.

He gave me access to one of his secret credit cards that Koryn knew nothing about and allowed me to decorate the place with everything my heart desired. I decked the place out with all kinds of expensive art and furniture. Along the walls were different pictures of him and I throughout the years. I made sure the fridge and cabinets were stocked with his favorite things. I always wanted him to feel at home.

“Taryn, where you at?” He called out to me and I could hear his voice getting closer.

“I’m in the bathroom,” I yelled out. I made sure that my ass was in the air as I tested the temperature of the water, turning it to my liking. I often slept naked but last night, I fell asleep in my panties and bra. I knew the sight of my round ass cheeks would excite him.

“Damn, that shit fat.” He smacked my ass and it stung a little. That didn’t stop me from poking it out more. “What you got going on?”

“Nothing. I just woke up, wanting to soak in the tub before getting ready. What you doing over here?” I stood up fully to face him.

“I wanted to holla at you for a few minutes before we head out to the airport.”

“Okay, wassup?” I put my hands on my hips and waited for him to talk.

“On this trip to New York, I can’t see you. I’m dedicating the next two days to Koryn and the baby. Now, before you flip out, I’ve scheduled an out of town business trip for us in two weeks. We’re gonna head out to Napa for the weekend. I remember you mentioning that you wanted to go wine tasting.”

“Okay,” I responded. Turning off the water, I walked out of the bathroom.

“You cool with that?” He asked, shocked while following behind me.
